This project resides in the space between truth and possibility; it belongs to the past, the present and the future. E Boydell was somebody; insignificant perhaps, but real, vital. She is lost in the flow of time, at rest, but her trace remains in a kind of stasis. We are now temporally bound inhabiting a creative space that is both fractured and fluid. So much is lost to time, so many lives faded or gone, so much history still to be found or created, to be established, imagined and remembered.
